Habfive sends me nothing.

That is not a summary of a longer policy; it is close to the whole of it. There is no analytics library, no third-party SDK, no account system, and no server of mine anywhere. The app makes no requests of its own.

What the app stores, and where

Your habits, the days you marked, the reasons you gave for missing a day, and your settings are written to your device, and mirrored to your own private iCloud databaseso a second device or a replacement phone picks them up. That is Apple's transport into your Apple account. It is not a service I run, I cannot read it, and no part of it reaches me.

Being honest about the shape of that: sync is not a backup. Deleting Habfive, or using Settings → Delete all data, removes your habits from iCloud too. The JSON export exists for the case sync does not cover.

Once a week the app writes that same export to a file on its own, so there is something to go back to without your having remembered anything. It keeps the last four. They sit in Habfive's own folder in Files, they are ordinary JSON you can open or delete, and they go where the rest goes when you delete all data. Nothing about them reaches me.

The app also keeps a plain activity log on the device: when it was opened, what you checked off, what it suggested. You can read it in Settings → Activity log and export it. It never leaves the phone, and Settings → Delete all data erases it along with everything else.

What I receive

Nothing, unless you email me. If you do, I have whatever you chose to write.

Apple provides aggregate download and crash statistics to every developer. Those come from Apple, are anonymous, and are not something Habfive sends.

Children

Habfive is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If this ever stops being true, this page changes before the app does, and the App Store privacy label changes with it.
